We strongly encourage participants to register before class. This allows you to be fully present upon arrival. No need to bring money or valuables with you and you are guaranteed a space in class.

Let your teacher know if you have to leave class early.

Arrive early to inform instructors of any injuries, concerns, or special health conditions.

Please turn off all cell phones (this includes the vibration feature (or better yet, leave it at home or in the car).

Please remove shoes before entering the practice space (hardwood floor). This helps keep the studio extra clean and is also a symbolic gesture of your intention to be fully present and mindful during your practice.

Abandon the competitive mind-set. Yoga is absolutely non-competitive. They are mindful practices which make the body stronger, more flexible, and generally healthier. The aim is to calm the mind, open the heart, and accelerate our evolution.

Be kind and loving to yourself by accepting where you are. Rest sometimes. Do what you can, with what you have, and with where you are. Listen to your body, pushing yourself beyond comfort and pain is not part of any practice.

We suggest purchasing your own yoga mat.

We have mats for rent in the studio but it is not as hygienic or as meaningful as practicing on your own mat.

Wear comfortable clothes - leggings or shorts and a top that is not too baggy will help your teacher guide alignment in poses.

Please bring a towel if you think you need one for a) sweat or b) slippery mats.

Please be considerate of other students by keeping your voice down when a class is in session.

Please do not step on other students' yoga mats.

If a student arrives late, be gracious and make room.
